Monochrome Landscapes
These monochrome (black & white) images were done in the tradition of the early masters of photography, such as Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Alfred Stieglitz. Many of the images shown here were originally made using the same traditional types of equipment and methods, such as with large format cameras, hand developing in trays, and hand printing each print individually. Those earlier images, as presented here, were later digitally scanned, using ultra-high resolution scanners, and digitally processed using state-of-the-art computer software, such as Photoshop and Lightroom. More recent image exposures were made using modern digital cameras. All images on this site were produced using the latest in digital processing methods and techniques.
